Episode 11: Emotional Maturity Pt. 2
Hello Tenacious Humans!
In today’s episode, we are talking all about the HOW when it comes to emotional maturity.
I’ll coach you on HOW to deal with difficult humans with low amounts of emotional maturity.
I’m coaching you on HOW to increase your own emotional maturity.
You’re not going to want to miss the second part to last weeks episode. This episode is packed with coping skills and strategies to help you be your best self.
The homework this week is a questionnaire I got from the work of Dr. Lindsey C. Gibson. Her work on emotional maturity is incredible. If you’re interested in learning more about how you can become more emotionally mature, go read her books. They’re amazing. The questionnaire she built is specifically made for adult children who grew up with very emotionally immature parents. I tweaked it a bit so that the questions are more geared towards self reflection versus reflecting on how you were parented. Get your your journal or notebook and take an honest look at where you are at with your own emotional maturity. Even if the answer is, “I’m emotionally immature”, now you know and can take steps to increase your maturity today. If you do end up scoring in the emotionally immature category, you can always come see me. We will work on strategies and skills that will help you increase your emotional maturity that will better yourself and your relationships.
Here is the questionnaire. Under the questionnaire is all the social media links, how you can support the pod, and how you can share your Tenacious Heart Moment if you’d like it to be read by me on next weeks episode. Take care Tenacious Humans!
